I've reviewed the RF's official casualty numbers, the assessments published by Western governments, the numbers published by the Ukrainian government, and the equipment losses cataloged by Oryx. RF has no credibility, but that number forms a bare minimum. The basis the US government has shared for its assessments seems reasonable, and the US actually has little reason to over-estimate while trying to mobilize resources. The Ukrainian government estimates actually seem believable, but they are a combatant, so I take those with a grain of salt. The Oryx numbers make the USG numbers more believable, and even if you discount them, the losses are staggering. I have other personal reasons for gravitating to a number, and I suspect they have credibly lost 7-10K KIA. Add casualties and it speaks to a very poorly executed campaign. So I stand by what I said: the Russian military is incompetent.

I want to build a better human. One that can survive the troubles of our own making. One less insufferable than the narcissistic monster of today.
